Although therapy is our focus for mental wellness, Life & Wellness Counseling offers more than just therapy. We strive to provide more for our community members, staff, and therapists.
We now offer clinical supervision from a licensed NC State Board LCMHPS and an LCSW.
We also provide peer support, opportunities for continued education in the field of mental health counseling, and targeted training for our therapists.
We have on staff an experienced Education Consultant who is available to offer academic support and solutions as well as connect with students, teachers, and schools to facilitate a relationship between healthcare providers and educators and increase chances for student success.
Our practice is available to provide consultation services to businesses and practices, federal and state agencies, the armed forces, educational and academic groups, religious groups, and volunteer and public service organizations.
Some topics of our presentations have included, but are not limited to
How to Create A Stress-Free Workplace,
Fostering Effective Communication Within Relationships,
Supporting Mental Wellness in School-Aged Children,
Living With An Abuser and Understanding How It Impacts Families, etc.
Our presentations are tailored to the needs of your group or organization and offer the opportunity for information-based and/or discussion-based participation.
