Apiffany Gaither, MS, LPCA
Apiffany Gaither is an Outpatient Therapist with Life & Wellness Counseling and Consulting, PLLC where she provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. Apiffany is accredited as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. Apiffany graduated with her Masters in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2015, and Bachelors in Psychology from Meredith College in 2012.
Apiffany has experience providing individual and family therapy as well as other mental health support in diverse settings and to an array of different populations. As an administrator for a vocational services program, she has participated in intake/discharge planning, treatment planning, conducted assessments, provided crisis intervention, individual/family therapy, and transitional support. Apiffany also has experience advocating in court settings and facilitating support groups for individuals who suffer from drug addiction. Apiffany specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who want support with managing life transitions and balancing stressors to improve emotional, interpersonal, and social wellness. In her work, Apiffany employs an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to ensure that each client receives a therapeutic experience tailored to address their individual needs. Apiffany empowers her clients by helping them to set and accomplish realistic goals as well as building their confidence to express unconditional self-acceptance.
