Aishah Whitehead, MSW, LCSWA
Aishah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) through the North Carolina
Social Work Certification and Licensure Board (NCSWCLB). Aishah earned a Master of Social Work from
Johnson C. Smith University and a Bachelor of Social Work from South Carolina State University.
She is also a member of National Association of Social Work, Charlotte Chapter.
Aishah fell in love with helping others and developed a passion for social work counseling. She has experience working in a variety of community-based mental health settings where she developed a deep sense of dedication to positive growth of others. Aishah has over two years of experience providing individual and family therapy for children and adolescents from ages 4 – 18 years of age. She has worked as a collaborator with different systems including schools and behavior health hospitals guiding families to appropriate resources. Aishah has experience providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy (TF-CBT), Experiential Therapy, Christian Centered Therapy, Crisis Invention Model, Narrative Therapy, and Problem-Solving modalities to help clients reach their goals in life. She believes that provided a safe and confidential environment,clients can heal and develop skills to successfully navigate life.

Letting go can sometimes make us feel uncertain or insecure, but leaving people and situations behind is a part of moving forward and it’s the beginning of creating something new where life is beautiful.
