Tamara Mobley is a Charlotte, NC native and a lover of yoga. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) through the North Carolina Social Work Certifications and Licensure Board. Tamara earned a Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina Central University. She has over 3 years of counseling experience and specializes in Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Her therapeutic approach is holistic and based on a combination of both evidence-based practices and lived experiences. Tamara works to customize a healing space where she challenges clients to accept the entirety of their experiences to work toward a path of resilience, empowerment, and authenticity. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, and BIPOC women issues.
Tamara’s professional experience comes from community mental health where she has worked in school settings, foster care agencies, domestic violence shelters, and the Department of Social Services. Tamara believes that true healing starts when we accept the entirety of our experiences and that self-worth rooted in authenticity frees you up to share your light and gifts with the world in a way that is powerful. She encourages clients to take charge of their lives and their ability to thrive despite mental, physical, and emotional hardship.
